Sardinia Retreat
Oct. 22nd - 27th, 2026
When old patterns no longer fit, and movement calls.
This six-day yoga retreat in Sardinia offers space
to land, reset, and move forward with clarity.

Location
Community
The location is simple, soulful and intentionally human-scale. We’ll gather in a small traditional Italian village away from the tourist crowds.
Share intentional space with others craving pause, reflection, and honest conversation. Enjoy meals made with food grown on the island.

Presence
We'll use yoga, meditation, and movement to help you land in your body, so whatever unfolds comes from steadiness, rather than urgency.

This retreat is for people who are looking to meet life honestly, those who value authenticity over polish, presence over performance and a meaningful experience that grounds you deeply.

What Awaits You in Sardinia
Wake up to the smell of Italian coffee and the fresh air of Sorradile, welcoming a sense of ease before you walk across the street to the yoga shala. We begin the day with a grounding meditation and a steady yoga practice. By the time you step outside, the sun is higher, your body feels awake, and a nourishing, farm‑to‑table brunch is waiting for you.
In the early afternoon we drive to a secluded beach, giving you a chance to experience Sardinia's wild, untouched wilderness and crystal clear water. There is time to explore, breathe, and connect to the land.
As the day softens, you return to the shala for a restorative yoga practice, designed to let you feel at home in your body and gently unwind the day.
Evenings are spacious. We gather around a long table to share a seasonal Sardinian meal prepared by a local chef, building community by turning strangers into friends with conversation, connection, and laughter.

No two days feel exactly the same, but each one follows a gentle arc of grounding, movement, nourishment, nature, rest, and return.
While Sardinia is a new destination for us, the heart of our retreats stays the same. Here’s what people who joined us on other retreats had to say…

Which airport should I fly into? The cost of the retreat includes a group shuttle to/from Cagliari International Airport (CAG) on the retreat arrival and departure dates (times to be determined). There are three airports on Sardinia: Cagliari (CAG) is located on the south of the island with great city access and has a train station. Olbia (OLB) is located in the northeast and is best for accessing beaches, and top attractions; Cagliari (CAG) (south) is the largest hub with great city access. Finally, Alghero (AHO) in northwest is a bit more complicated to get to/from. Contact us if you fly to/from this airport. If you need to reach the guesthouse on your own, we are happy to assist you in organizing your travel.
What is Sorradile like? The village of Sorradile is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Sardinia, surrounded by mountains, lakes, and wide open landscapes that invite you to slow down and breathe deeply. Set along the shores of Lake Omodeo, this peaceful village offers sweeping views, fresh air, and a sense of timeless stillness. Nature is everywhere here. You can explore scenic hiking trails, wander through quiet countryside paths, visit ancient Nuragic archaeological sites that date back thousands of years, or spend reflective moments by the water. The sea is also within reach, offering the possibility of a day trip to Sardinia’s crystal-clear coastline. Sorradile itself is small and authentic, with cobblestone streets, traditional stone houses, and a deep connection to Sardinian culture and history. It’s not touristy or crowded - it’s the kind of place where you can truly unplug, reconnect with nature, and immerse yourself in a slower rhythm of life. This setting is part of the retreat experience: wild, grounding, and beautifully expansive.
How is the food and what if I have food restrictions? The price of the retreat includes three meals a day: brunch, an afternoon merienda (i.e. veggies and hummus, light sandwiches, etc.), and a shared seasonal vegetarian dinner prepared by a local chef. All-day coffee/tea/fruit service will be available every day. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.
How many people will be at the retreat? Spacious and intentional, this retreat is kept small—8-12 participants—with a 6-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio, allowing for meaningful connection and making the most out of your practice.
What is the alcoholic beverage policy? Alcoholic beverages are not included in the price of the retreat, but wine will be available for purchase during dinner. Please be mindful that we will be doing energy work and alcohol may distract from that. We also believe in balance and recognize that we are in Italy and you may want to enjoy a glass of wine :)
Are illicit substances allowed? No. We ask all participants to respect the retreat space and the local community by not bringing or using illicit substances during the retreat.
Are the activities optional, or do I have to do everything? All activities are optional. The retreat includes a rhythm of group practices and generous free time, and we encourage you to move at the pace your body is asking for. You’re welcome to join what feels supportive and take space when you need it.
What level of yoga is required to attend the retreat? This retreat is open to all levels, and you don’t need to be “advanced” to join us. However, we do recommend that you have an existing physical practice (it does not have to be yoga). While we will offer options and variations, this retreat may not be suitable for complete beginners or those currently experiencing significant mobility limitations. Most importantly, we welcome students who are curious, open-hearted, and excited to deepen their understanding of yoga, both on and off the mat. If you’re unsure whether it’s the right fit, feel free to reach out We are always happy to guide you. 💛
What is the weather like in Sorradile in the last week of October? Late October in Sorradile is beautifully mild, with daytime temperatures typically between 18–23°C (64–73°F) and cooler, cozy evenings. Expect a mix of sunshine and occasional autumn rain, with fresh air and golden light across the landscape. It’s one of the loveliest times to experience Sardinia because the intense summer heat has passed, the island feels spacious and calm, and nature is vibrant. Perfect for hiking, exploring, and practicing yoga comfortably. And yes, the beach is absolutely still part of the experience. Many days are warm and bright, ideal for enjoying the coastline, soaking up the sun, swimming, or simply relaxing by the sea, with the added gift of fewer crowds and a more peaceful atmosphere.
Is it okay to sign up for the retreat by myself? Yes, absolutely! We’re so looking forward to having you. This retreat offers space to connect with yourself and the natural world, while also forming meaningful connections with others who may be in similar places in life.
